Lime Cilantro Rice

2 tbsp. oil
4 c. long grain rice (6 c. water)
1 bunch cilantro, finely chopped
juice of 3-4 limes
2 tsp. crushed garlic
garlic salt to taste

Heat oil in large skillet. Add rice, cilantro, and garlic. Saute 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add water and lime juice and bring to boil. Then reduce heat and simmer until all the liquid is absorbed by the rice (about 20 minutes). You can also use a rice cooker if you have one.

1 c. mayo
1 c. chopped cilantro
2 cloves garlic
3 tomatillos (remove paper)
1/3 c. buttermilk
¼ t. cayenne pepper (less if you don't like spicy)

put all ingredients in a blender—blend until smooth

Ground Turkey Meat

1 lb. ground turkey meat
garlic salt & pepper to taste
1/4 cup taco seasoning
3/4 cup water

  1. This is the one I was waiting for, thank you. Unfortunately I think I liked it better when I could pretend that mayo and buttermilk weren't involved!
